Blacksburg Interfaith Food Pantry (BIFP), A Program of New River Community Action, offers food once a month to residents or transients within Blacksburg who are 200% poverty income or below, as well as to people with financial crises.
Low-income people frequently face high utility bills, a decrease in income, disabilities, chronic health issues, a significant amount of medical debt, housing costs greater than 50 percent of income, or homelessness.
