Join our board.
We are looking for capable and dedicated board members who represent the communities served by Causeway Community Action.
Since no one person has all the competencies and qualities to ensure an effective Board, we’re looking for people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. We select members without regard to national origin, race, sex, color, disability, or political or religious belief.
Specifically, we’re looking for expertise in:
- Finance and business management
- Community needs
- Social welfare
- Information technology
- Quality management
- Ethics and values
- Public relations/marketing
- Law and real estate
We also need people who are good at communicating, consensus building, and creative thinking.
As a board member, you’ll need to attend monthly meetings that may last two to three hours. You will also be asked to attend a monthly committee meeting.
